I have found my renewed purpose in becoming a therapist. My 23+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) has provided me with comprehensive knowledge and skill to support you as a whole person physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I believe in treating all people with compassion, understanding, and empathy. As an RN psychotherapist, I also have knowledge on various types of medication, side effects and interactions as well as how stress, distress, and trauma can have an effect on the body and our nervous system.

I am a cisgender woman, Filipina-Canadian, Southeast Asian, middle-aged, heterosexual, able-bodied, middle-class, Christian and spiritual.

As an RN, I am authorized to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy so that you don’t have to do any of this by yourself. I am also nearing the end of completing a Masters of Psychospiritual Studies and aim to Register with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

When I am not at work, I like to spend time with my husband, our teenage boys and our dog. I am grateful for the wonderful girlfriends I have in my life. I love Chinese, Korean, Filipino and Thai cuisine. Taro bubble tea and moose tracks Kawartha Dairy ice cream will always win my heart. Spontaneous Costco runs make me happy and all things stationary give me joy. Oh, how I love a good pen! When I am not reading, walking or singing karaoke, I am looking for the next K-drama to watch. My favourite place to be is walking along Lake Huron watching the sunset with my family.
