Rafeah Gangat

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) #17009

(226) 790-6800

A passionate Psychotherapist who aims to destigmatize therapy within marginalised communities by offering support for anxiety, depression, identity exploration, stress management, communication, boundary setting, BIPOC, intersectionality, and spirituality challenges.

Drawing from her personal experiences as a person of colour and a visibly Muslim woman, she is a culturally sensitive therapist and promotes accessibility and inclusivity to all of her clients.

As a therapist, Rafeah’s current focus is providing support to individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. Her professional journey has been shaped by her commitment to providing empathetic and evidence-based therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, that builds coping skills before addressing past traumas and unconscious thought processes.
